A Story Written in the Soil The Chelti story began generations ago in the village of Shilda, a place where the Caucasus Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to fertile soils. Here, the Mirianashvili family first cultivated vines and built their traditional wine cellar, laying a foundation of quality that would survive the centuries. While the tradition is ancient, the modern revival began in 2001 under the vision of Giorgi Mirianashvili. Today, the estate spans 80 hectares and is a true family affair, led by Giorgi’s children, Ana and Andria. They bridge the gap between the wisdom of their ancestors and the precision of modern sustainability.
